Recycled Newspaper Business card holder!!.. :)

I have used old newspaper to make the holder...

Roll the newspaper from corner side of paper with help of  toothpick...

Once you are done with the rolling part.. its now time to stick each of these rolls together...

First finish of making the base for the holder as shown and then for the sides as well...

Cover the holes of the paper rolls from the top as it doesn't give a fair look...

I have used all Acrylic colors and mixed it with fevicol... Used different color combinations with available acrylic colors to get the wooden finish to the product...

Once you have colored the whole thing.. now color the borders with black...

Sorry i couldn't take the snaps of shapes on quilling.. I have made few flowers and leafs out of quilling strips...

And here is my final finished product.. It looks as if quilling is made on some wooden holder...

Quilled jewelry set

I though of making a simple pendant and earrings out of quilling strips to match my saree. For this I have used green, black, cream and golden colored quilling strips. 

I have made malaysian flower petals for pendant.

My pendant is now all set... You can actually use some pearl kundans to decorate it...

Quilled Jhumka Earrings:

Its now time to make some beautiful earrings.. As i like Jhumkas very much, I made jhumkas of same color combination...

My pendant and jhumka is all now ready...

SO as to make this jewelry water resistant and hard, I have used sealer called Modge podge..

Use equal amounts of water and modge podge...

Give two to three coats of sealant so as to make it water resistant...

Once you are done with sealant coating, now coat it with transparent nailpolish so as to give it a shiny look..

I have used M-seal to make some beads and then colored it to match my earrings and pendant.
